Here is my simple V977 model file for the Devo10.

this is my first model file but it should be OK, ive just tested it and everything seems to work as expected.

PLEASE TEST CAREFULLY AS THIS IS MY FIRST MODEL

This is setup for those who only fly in 3G mode.

Onboard rates are forced High (to use transmitters dual rate functions)

3g mode forced (i dont fly 6g)

Expo set on ailron and elevator to 25 (this is easy to change to your needs, but i feel 25 is close. i just hoved less than a metter in front of me, tail in, nose left and nose right)

Low, Mid High rates on mix switch. Mix0 low, Mix1 mid, Mix 3 High (expo is same for all rates)

Idle up On Aile D/R

Throttle hold on Fmod 1 and 2 (0 hold off, 1 and 2 hold on)

I dont have the v977 with pitch travel adjust, so havnt implented it, but it is easy for you to add it.

This should be a simple model, to get you up in running on 3d mode. I put throttle hold on Fmod as its the same as the stock transmitter, but this is easy to change if you want it on a different switch.

Here's a model.ini for my Master CP. It will show how I used very simple thottle and pitch curves. I'm using a Devo 7e, so you may want to change switch assignments.
Ok, I have throttle hold on my hold switch. I am also using a "sticky" throttle hold.(You must return thottle to 0 to re-engage.
I'm using the fmod switch for my spool-up and stunt modes. This switch also controls the gyro.
You may also notice that, at throttle stick center (zero). I am at zero pitch in both modes. This way when I switch from fmod0 to fmod1, there is no change in throttle or pitch. So you can switch back and forth in mid flight with no adverse effects. The only thing that changes is the gyro turns on or off.(for stunt mode). I used expo on the tail rudder to make it less jerky.
Lastly, I used channel virt3 to display 0%-100% throttle output. The bargraphs are channel 1-7 respectively. Feel free to tailor this model file to suit your needs. Happy flying!
