Hi,
here you find my newest config for Walkera 4G3 with RX2605A (made on Devo12)
1. Be careful of Trims, per click are 2.0 set. I´ve got a great temperatue problem with the gyro and have to trim it nearly the whole flying time.
2. Rudder got an Offset of -30 to hold the Tail. Set it to 0 before. Then use offset when the 4G3 turns around on Ground at startup.
3. Throttle is cut of by HOLD1 (Devo12 Switch. You can set ist to RudDR or were you like.
4. Gyro Gain on MIX Switch (10,20,40) if the Tail wags try other values.
5. Elevation and Aileron can be reduced bei ELEDR and AILDR Switch, also Expo ist used. Devo 12 has 3-Way-DR-Switches.
Hope you have fun with your little pretty 4G3.

Yes but only with a RX2605A Receiver, not with a RX2605 (without "A").
Which Receiver do you have installed at your 4G3?

That is a pity. I have searched a lot for a solution to bind the RX2605 to the Devo, also in different forums, unfortunately so far without success.
The receiver binds in WK2601 mode, but the control does not work properly, it seems that channels are swapped.
A special feature of the RX2605 is, for example, that the pitch curves for normal and 3D are stored in the receiver and the transmitter only sends the selection of the Flightmode.
Maybe you have the luck to find a solution, then I would be very happy about a hint from you.
Greetings
Dirk

Thats the best way because then you have all options to programm all Curves und Expo and so on at your Devo by using the WK2801 Protokoll. Maybe you can find a used and broken 4G3 with a working and binding RX2605A for small money.
The original Transmitter in addition with the RX2605 sucks really. I can fly with it but thats always a hell ride and never fun for me.

I tried model8 . For me none of the switch do anything except fmod for 3d setting. Throttle go from -100 to 0 at full Throttle heli just sit on the the ground I believe it should say +100 instead of 0. In fmod one heli will lift off but start spinning in a circle uncontrollably.

First of all copy the model8.ini once again to your Devo10 and never change the Protocol it must be WK2801. Beware: By changing the Protocol some informations can be lost or will not shown!!!
You have to scroll down at Mixers, 3-THR, Expo&DR then you will find more v-shaped curves activated by FMODE1 and FMODE2, have a look at the attached picture this is the Throttle Mixer displayed on my Devo12s.
All other things seems for me belongs maybe to a wrong mechanical settings. Here you will find some Informations what do you have to check at first:

Something ain't right. I cannot even get this to Helicopter to lift off the ground. I did all the setting to the ball links and leveled my swash plate still no go.I thought it was me so I busted out my V450D03 and Master Cp and loaded a couple ini file and had no problems. I mean the pitch is insanely crazy on the 4G3 with a +23 pitch on normal mode and even more pitch on 3d mode to the point where the helicopter bog and cuts out. Is there a certain way to adjust the pitch on this one? This is the all brush less version don't know if that matters. I am using a devo 10 if that even matters.
Would someone happen to have a standard ini file for this it would be greatly appreciated and even my some pictures of their helicopter all set up.
