Hi Guy's,

I'm looking for a Modelfile for this Quad.

Following Features:

- Headless Mode
- Inverted Flight Mode
- Flips
- One Key Return

I'm using a Devo 7E (+ 3 Way Switchmod) and checked with Bayang Protocol and a H8 Mini Modelfile.

Throttle works fine, but all other axes are very slow. Also all of the Switches changing nothing.

Would appreciate any response.

Here's what I've found:

(Banyang protocol)
Channel 5: inverted
Channel 6: flip
Channel 9: headless
Channel 10: RTH

Flip does not seem to work as a momentary button, so you have to toggle it.

Your model.ini file seems to be missing the entries defining the virtual channels. Your buttons probably don't work, right?

I think you just need to set Virt1, Virt2 and Virt3 up as simple mixer types with min/max curve using the transmitter GUI. Hmmm... You also need to add Virt3 to a trim button, I think. Since you're able to fly with this one, be sure to make backups before you make changes!

Sorry, I should have explained my config more, it was late when I posted this ;)

My config is pretty standard, I've only mapped the channels for flip, inverted and headless. The missing entry you're seeing is channel10, RTH, which I have set to Virt3 under mixer settings, but it is not defined as a trim. If you want RTH, just define it under trims on the TX gui, source Virt3.

Flip = throttle trim down (TrimLV-) toggle button
Inverted = throttle trim up (TrimLV+) momentary button
Headless = Hold1
Throttle safety = Fmod1

I did some more testing and I was incorrect about flip needing to be a toggle, it works normally as a momentary switch. I assigned it to a different button and it worked. For some reason w/ my config listed above, when pressing TrimLV-, it was sending to both channel 5 and 6, instead of just 6 for flip. I noticed this by editing my main page config to toggle those channels on the display. Not sure why it's sending a channel 5 signal when pressing either TrimLV-/+. I changed my flip button to EXT under the Trims menu, now it works as a momentary.

Hi slo_rider,

many thanks for that :)

Got my problems fixed, it was required to upgrade to the latest Nightly to get Inverted mode to work.

remapped the buttons.

Using Hold 1 as Throttle enabled
SWA1 - Flip
SWA2 - Inverted
SWB2 - RTH
FMOD1 - Headless

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Can someone post a model config file with invert working? I have everything else but for the life of me I can't seem to get invert to work.

I just installed the NRF24L01 module and I was able to bind to the H101 by selecting bayang but the quad yaws like crazy. Flys fine with the stock controller.

Any help for a noob to fix this?

I tried to copy slo_rider's ini to the 7E but it does not bind for some reason. LEDs blink fast. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

Using deviation-devo7e-v5.0.0-bff7c9c

Help?

I fly both my H101 and H8 mini with the same H8 mini config, so Bayang works fine with the H101...
