				As usual - takes a bit longer to figure it out. Still working on it, don't worry.

				Hi there,
I'm currently absolutely busy, but I should give my two cents on that the UDI U816/U818 is known to have multiple protocol variants.
And now you've found the next one - which shares similarities with the older variants, but is not the same.
Here is the comment block from my source about that (Most propably you're talking about 'Protocol 2014'):
Just in case someone can make use of this, I've attached my UDI implementation (started off with V2x2 implementation).
Its mimicing (SPI-trace verified) the behavior of UDI protocol, but never gets the first bind-reply from receiver when using multi module with NRF24L01.
I tried to hook up an BK2421 to my arduino and use a partially ported deviation with my code, but even that never ended up with something working, so I gave up.

// Known UDI 2.4GHz protocol variants, all using BK2421
//  * UDI U819 coaxial 3ch helicoper
//  * UDI U816/817/818 quadcopters
//    - "V1" with orange LED on TX, U816 RX labeled '' , U817/U818 RX labeled 'UD-U817B'
//    - "V2" with red LEDs on TX, U816 RX labeled '', U817/U818 RX labeled 'UD-U817OG'
// - "V3" with green LEDs on TX. Did not get my hands on yet.
// * U830 mini quadcopter with tilt steering ("Protocol 2014")
// * U839 nano quadcopter ("Protocol 2014")Just in case someone can make use of this, I've attached my UDI implementation (started off with V2x2 implementation).

				Thanks! I'm slowly decompressing from my XN297 hacking marathon, still need to finish it up. But the next thing is this. Unfortunately I don't have a model myself, still need to get one. I checked the traces provided by various people and concluded that UDI 816/818 ('A' variant?) and 839 are virtually identical. I will check your code, it's always useful to have something as a base.

				So isn't supported UDI U816 quadcopter in latest nightly build?

				Sorry for digging out that thread, but because I got a quad that is most likely a UDI 839 rebrand I'm just asking whether the protocol was ever merged to Deviation? I can't find it right now but I'm on the lates nightly from 04-14.

				hi, at the moment i am still practicing with an old u818a drone. just bought a radiomaster and am missing a module/profile for the udi drones. i would be very glad if someone could tell me if this project here had some results or someone who is more used to do things like that would like to write such a module or maybe could just give me some hints about how to write such a module.
