Hi there,

Anyone know the protocol for the Ares Ethos Quads? The have several small airplanes and a new larger quad with missle launcher and accessories.

Probably using a FrySky protocol since they seem to be som WLtoys repackaged quads. In this case, you need the A7105-500 RF chip in your devo

Interesting! Frame looks very much like the YD717, though the motor holders are a little different.

I just got a second YD717 which has a slightly different flight controller board than my first one. It looks like the same board that's in the Ares 75 I saw online, except the motor wires are soldered instead of using connectors like the Ares.

When you reversed the ailerons for the Ares Ethos, did you notice a difference in the roll rate versus the pitch rate? Or do aileron and elevator work about the same?

I'm working on a change to support the XinXun, which flys fine with rudder reversed but has very slow yaw rate. I'm concerned the fix for that may break the Ares if the Ares has the same pitch and roll rates with aileron reversed.
