The more I look at Futaba/Sbus2 the more I like it. There are lots of sensors and possibilities. FRSky makes a S-FHSS compatible RX so it's been reversed somewhere along the line.

I wish I could help with doing protocols....

Too expensive for just curious look at it - remember, you need even more expensive Futaba TX to reverse the protocol.

If you have it and can make photos of the board near the RF chip it would help to evaluate easiness of soldering to it.
