You probably generate the TX id which is beyond of range of acceptable ids. If the id is 4 bytes it does not mean all the values are legal. It happened in several protocols already. Try to use the TX id from Deviation directly to find boundaries of this range.

I didn't mean to insult anybody, I was merely laughing at the "complex" algorithm the KN-developers used. Even I managed to think of that

I belive I have it sorted out now...attached files for devo7e and devo10 based on the current nightlys as well as updated ini files for both (FMOD controls 3g/6g gyro now, SW A or RUD D/R controls the original FX dual rate). This version generates a random ID bases on the deviation ID you are setting. In the unlikely case of an ID not working (or incomplete), please try a couple of others.

P.S.: timestamps on files are off by almost 24h as my virtual box linux has the wrong time...

Very true. I was really amazed when I first learned about the deviation project, you guys did a hell of a job. Now that the repository get's straighted out again trying to merge all the different patches I believe it will make yet another leap forward. I hope I can contribute just a little bit. When do you think is the right time to make a pull request?

And Victzh and Amax thanks for all the inputs. Us techno-retards really appreciate the online community with the contribution you guys all make. The Deviation project is awesome and it's a delight to fly our models with so much control at our fingertips.

I've been getting emails all afternoon from a fellow rc'er who we get setup with a Devo 10 a couple of weeks ago excited that he'll be able to fly his FX birds with a decent radio finally. Thanks guys

Good to hear! If the current code works we should be all set. That should allow plenty of FX's flown at the same time. Tell me if you experience any glitches, there is alway room for some improvement.

Loaded and initially tested 2nd version. Tried rebinds, powering heli and Tx off and on, plus have changed Bind ID, all good so far.
