I just ordered a SY X25 and am going to test it with the Syma protocols since it looks like it might be the same thing as the Syma X9.

I finally got mine and tried a bunch of the more popular protocols with no success. I haven't tried all protocols with all sub-menu options yet, there are a ton of them! I was hoping somebody might be able to narrow down the list using the attached photos of the TX internals. I used an 8S with NRF24L01 & A7105 modules, and a nightly build I downloaded on Jan 26th 2016 (v4.0.1-2a4077a).
These are pictures from inside the Song Yang TX. There are only 2 large chips, only one is marked. It looks like a NST LT8910SSC 1530. It also looks like there is a PCB trace between the antenna and the LT8910, so it should be the transceiver. I can't see any markings on the other chip, and I used a digital microscope and tried all sorts of light angles with no success.
Edit: I found an Arduino library for the LT8900 / LT8910: forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=324539.0

LT8910 has an unpleasant feature - it can be run at unsupported by current emulation layer data rate - 62.5kbps. Chance are slim so far, but I'm looking at similar L6052.
