How is that working? Is it real samples over the air, or the sample outputrate set at the RX?
That's only PWM servo refresh rate, which can be set between 50 and 400 Hz, "samples over the air" are sent every 3.85 ms (~260 Hz).
No idea for i-bus refresh rate, I haven't tried it yet, I'll try to measure that later.

Yes, that's useful, thanks, I was about to put the RX in the microwave oven as well to find it

goebish wrote: I confirm RSSI is working, well, that's not a "real" RSSI as it doesn't report power strength in dB but rather a percentage of dropped packets, but that's good enough.

I think I fully understand how telemetry works now, I've ordered an extra set of sensors to confirm, they're so cheap ... I'll give them to Alexandro when I'm done with this protocol in thanks for lending his TX.
I've to settle a few stuffs then back to work on this protocol ...

It is a test build and should be treated as such, don't attempt to fly your new shinny machine too far with it
- no failsafe
- only RX voltage and RSSI (in dB) telemetry
- RXID is stored in protocol options, don't change it manually !
Please report

1, Bind OK, 6 channels work fine.
2, RX voltage OK
3, RSSI always "0d" , don't know what's wrong?
4, PPM not tested yet.

Bind OK, 4 channels work fine, but
1, I got some problem with this firmware, I can't get into "Telemetry monitor" page, after I pressed "ENT" for 3 times , my 7E reboot itself.
2, I set HOLD1 as ch5 and FMOD1 as CH6 , but it activated at same time.
I don't think it's protocol bug, it's a firmware problem.
note : need to change protocol name from "AFHDS2A" to "AFHDS-2A" or you will get "missing protocol" message.

Does it stay the same if you move the transmitter 1 or 2 rooms away from the RX ?3, RSSI always "0d" , don't know what's wrong?
With the iA10 I've -60d when I'm near (same as with i10 transmitter) then it drops when I move away. Maybe the ia6 doesn't report RSSI in dB, but only an error rate, we'll try that later.
Hmm I'm not sure what's wrong, I'm using the frsky telemetry model, with values that doesn't require HAS_EXTENDED_TELEMETRY, I'll try with the emulator, I know I should have bought a 7e when it was $36 on ebay1, I got some problem with this firmware, I can't get into "Telemetry monitor" page, after I pressed "ENT" for 3 times , my 7E reboot itself.

edit: it also happens when I select the FrSky-X protocol then try to go to the telemetry screen, hexfet, if you're reading, any idea ?
I'll try with the DSM telemetry model, looks like it should fit the values afhds-2a report.
