DSMX video transmitter control

Good day all.
I have been following the immersion rc vortex mini/horizon blade vortex for a week now, and have just seen that they have partnered to implement a vtx channel selection into the protocol.

Has anyone seen this before?

I have seen a lad talking about the spektrum update that includes the new telemetry rssi and vtx channel selection.

Has anyone had a look into the features?
