I know but I couldn't find anything other info on X4 functions. I installed an extra switch (SWA), did the range mod, installed A7105 and NRF24L01 modules in my Devo7e and am using the a recent nightly build but have not been able to get the X4 LEDs to toggle. Any guidance re. implementing those functions in a model?

It may be in 4.0.1 - post above is six months old.

Is it possible yet with the nightly build to control the X4's LED and FLip mode?

sorry, I'm confused with Aile and Elev as English is not my first language.

What happened is the Elev controls the rolling leftward and rightward, and Aile controls the forward and backward. And I want to correct it.

I found that the Rudd and Thro work fine, but Aile and Elev didn't work in the way I want.

Currently, the Aile controls the rolling leftward and rightward, and Elev controls the forward and backward. It's the opposite way I want.

Could anyone tell me how to swap the control between Aile and Elev?

Thanks a lot.

I see two ways:
1. open modelXX.ini file with Notepad++ but never with MS Notepad and change channel1 to channel2, also ch1 to ch2 and vice versa in every place you find them in .ini file
2. open mixer window on TX and change channel function (use Deviation manual)

Are you sure you want to exchange AIL and ELE?

Currently, the Aile controls the rolling leftward and rightward, and Elev controls the forward and backward.

That doesn't sound wrong.
I would change the direction of the AIL and ELE channels.

Hubsan X4 LED/FLIP using trims....ICons?

Category: Model Configs

Hi, I'm having real fun with my X4, I think X4 it's a funny Quad to start with.

I'm using the INI file from post #13064 www.deviationtx.com/forum/protocol-devel...-on-the-way?start=20

and I can control the LED and the FLIP functions using the trims...Could be possible to see an icon when activating the LED or FLIP functions? I've tried it but I can only assing a Toggle for doing that...

Thanks in advance.

The latest nightly builds let you set the video transmitter frequency for the Hubsan X4 FPV (H107D)
It has better frequency range than the stock Hubsan FPV TX (5645-5945 MHz) and remembers last used frequency.

(Click the protocol name in Model setup screen to access protocol options)

Looks like it also works with Hubsan H102D (heli) and Hubsan Spyhawk (plane)

I think my unusual config was related to problems with XL7105-D03 module. With new module I got quite logical config with expo for ELE and AIL.

My fight with Hubsan H107C (camera version) 'build in' control curves for getting more linear control, was ended with unusual config. Sensitivity around neutral points adjusted with 'Deadband' curve.

Config for Devo8:
'FMODE SW' used for ELE and AIL rates (80%, 90% and 100%)
'GEAR SW' used for light control (by default LEDs disabled)
'ELE DR SW' used for flip control (by default flips disabled)
