read stock firmware model data

is there any way to read stock firmware model data before saved on pc with devodfuse program e.g. model.bin

I've been wondering this too. With all the great programming being done I was thinking it would be nice to have a converter program to convert the Modelnn.bin to a modelnn.ini file. The new INI file seems straight forward and readable by notepad. What language is the BIN file in and what program can read it / decrypt it for translation.

I wonder if its the case that the new INI has more information in it then the BIN files and therefor isn't a nice neat 1 to 1 translation.
