Portuguese BR translation

Hi, I offer to do the translation to Portuguese (BR) without costs.

Are the differences between written brazilian Portuguese and pt (without Brazilian subclassification) big? Otherwise I'd prefer we have a general pt language translation added, as I did with Chinese and others as well.

@fdr: we will have to add zh and pt targets makefile, I'll try to update tonight if I find time.

The differences are minimal, BR tends to maintain original technical terms of English and the PT translates all terms, other than the translation is the same. I usually leave the most common and standard possivle.
An example:
My RC needs to change the display, gimbal, usb port and update firmware
In Portuguese BR: "Meu RC precisa trocar o DISPLAY, o GIMBAL, a porta USB e atualizar o firmware."
In Portugal Version:" Meu CONTROLADOR POR RADIO precisa trocar a ECRAN, o MANETE, a FICHA DE COMUNICAÇÂO USB e atualizar o PROGRAMA INTERNO"

I'll leave it up to your choice, as you do the work (which I'm already thankful for, as I know from my German work it takes quite some time), but personally prefer pt. I just think that if someone finds a ptBR translation, he won't see a necessity to make an additional ptPT translation, so we might as well put your work in pt right away, and if someone feels like there is to many English terms in it he's always free to make a pt PT or update your translation and decide specific terms or translations in the language team on transifex. But from experience in ANY other of the current translations this won't happen soon, as pretty much all are single persons work. Anyways, I'll open up pt for you as well and will close the one you are not working on in the next couple of days.

Let's do this, I do PT-BR and then I customize to the PT-PT version, then it is not difficult to maintain maintenance or, in that period, someone who assumes PT version (portugal), as same as I do whith Ashampoo .

Ok. I've added pt_BR builds to the automated building script running every 24h for HTML an PDF so you can check the output.

@FDR: You will have to add links to the HTML versions of pt_BR and zh. The latter is currently not supported in Sphinx for PDF building, so it is exclusively building as HTML.

you could also translate the deviation menus to Portuguese if you wish. That would seem more useful than Portuguese-PT

Ok! But I have some questions: Which software should I use to edit it? And how should I proceed with Portuguese orthographic accents? Should I keep them (for example "configuração") or not use it (configuracao)? I don't know weather the TXs will show them or not. Nd I dont know "docker" or "git".

The files are encoded as UTF-8, any decent text editor should work, as long as file encoding is saved correctly (probably not windows notepad). Recommendations depend on your operating system. Please use all orthographic accents as we do the same for other languages as well. If characters are missing, those should be added to the transmitter fonts.
