Screen Backlight and on Devo 8S

Hi !

How can I manage the screen backlight lasting a little bit longer ?
And - when the screen switches off I have no indicator (led or something else) that the radio is ON, that's irritating.

You can hit the ENT button to bring the screen brightness back up.

Backlight can be set up via the wrench (top left) under transmitter config. Scroll down on that page (or hold the DN- button) and you'll see it.

Backlight: brightness
Dimmer time: how long till dimming (up to 2 minutes, disable down to 0)
Dimmer target: how dim it sets it

Far as not being able to see if the TX is on, the 8S has a red LED behind the Devo-8S tag that's quite bright. No?

Thanks, DarkWolf ! I'm sorry I hadn't noticed the scrollbar; but later when I read the manual again I had found that issue.
Concerning the red LED - there isn't any, definitely. But I intend to open the radio next time so I can take a look after it.

OK, have had opened the radio. But couldn't see anything because I didn't want to remove the whole board.

That's odd that you have no light.. Sounds like a flaw.

Look at this pic (not mine, hijacked) and you can see that under the logo it glows red.

In the Devo8 there is a red LED beyond the logo. To get there you have to open the tx, remove the transmitter module and the main board. You will find the LED at the back side of the board.
I am quite sure that it will be the same in a Devo8s.

I have a silver Devo 8 upgrade to an 8s with the RX module, it's about 13 months old, it has the red LED. I bought another Devo8s (the Darker titanium colour version) about 6 weeks ago, it has the same LED behind the Devention label.

If yours has none or are not working, I guess you might have an even older Devo8?

Well, he said 8S, so it shouldn't be that old? I think it may just be a factory defect or something. I've never ever owned a TX that did not have some kind of LED to state the power was on or not.
