File error message in DfuSe was created by TerryP
I'm trying to upload deviation on my devo 10 for the first time. I've downloaded 4.01 and pointed to it in DfuSe but it gives me a "this file doesn't have the correct format" error message. What am I doing wrong?

Probably your file isn't in dfu format.

Did you read the user manual?

Thank you but, yes, I've read the manual and downloaded the files. I select the file deviation-devo10-v4.0.1.dfu and I get the error message. The transmitter is connected and shows up. I've downloaded the files 3 times to be sure it wasn't corrupted so I'm stumped.

you are using Walera's latest DFuse application? I have never seen it complain about an illegal DFU before.

Can you:
Download this:
www.winmd5.com/

drop the dfu file you are using onto it ( double check the directory is the same as the one you use in the DFU Uploader)

Make sure you get a value of:

The file would not load into the checksum program so I knew something was wrong. It turns out that, although it looked okay, it was still compressed. (Still fighting with windows 8.1!!!) All is well now. Thank you for your help.
