;Only useful for transmitters with an after-market vibration motor
;enable-haptic=1
;
;switch_types: 3x2, 3x1, 2x2
;extra-switches=
;
[modules]
; there is no need to enable the cyrf6936 module unless
; it is wired to an alternate port. It is Enabled automatically otherwise
; enable-cyrf6936 = B12
; has_pa-cyrf6936 = 0
; enable-a7105 = A13
; has_pa-a7105 = 1
; enable-cc2500 = A14
; has_pa-cc2500 = 1
enable-nrf24l01 = A13
has_pa-nrf24l01 = 1
; enable-multimod = A13
I do not know if your module has PA, if not you should do the same with the "has pa" line.
The last thing you could try is to change A13 to A14.
If this doesn't help something else is wrong.

Suppose PA stands for Power Amplifier, anyway, I don't know.
Tried both ways (enable - disable) but without success.
Port A13 is OK.
So the question is : What else could be wrong?
Lack of antenna (wire) : Printed on the module-board ?
I have attached a picture of the module; notice tne name "NRF 24L01+", does the "+" matter ?
OK I will re-solder the whole stuff . . .
Kind regards
Gerhard

No success (at least the "normal" protocols still do work).
Just dld specification for nRF24Lo1+ from
www.nordicsemi.com/kor/Products/2.4GHz-RF/nRF24L01P
which says "nRF24L01+ is drop-in compatible with nRF24L01" - whatever this means.
And it does have a PA.

I had found a remark that sometimes 3.3V power issues do occur. I'll check out this point.
One last hope : VCC shares power with a red LED I had installed some times ago as a "Power On" indicator. Maybe this consumes too much power. I'll check out this point next.

Are you sure the pinout on that module is the same as the ones on the website you linked? Looks like probably so, but good to be sure.

Checked blink signal of heli RX, it's a 5 times blink pattern when DEVO 7E is on.
Tried out original radio. After binding radio and heli I switched off radio. Same blink pattern.
This means that there seems to come no TX signal at all out from from the module.
Since I had received three modules last chance I see is to try another module.
Remark :
Referring to www.hacksmods.com/tag/wltoys/ I had set has_pa-nrf24l01 = 1

just to be clear: VCC and CE both go to VDD.
It shouldn't matter but i use the ground pin between VDD and TMS, but that is personal.

...you will not have much range. Pay attention.

Anyway, thx for the warning !
Since I'll use it only for small helis like this WLToy AS350 I hope it doesn't matter.

Should be fine. The V911 A7105 module was really popular because they came in the RTF Tx for the V911, and it has no PA. I ordered an A7105 & NRF24L01 for my Devo6S with no PA and the on-board antenna, excpeting to use them for indoor heli's and quads.
But always range test!
Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

Since I had had ordered 3 modules I gave on my DEVO 10 and it did bind instantly, also everything is running fine. But have had no time to check out whether 3axis-6axis switching works.

Due to my throttle_troubles . . .
Your v931.ini would be great help !
TIA

I got this one from the topic: New WL Toys Protocol V977. I am not shure from whom exactly (i think it was dc59) but thank those guys.
I use this ini on devo 8s and Devo 10.
I changed a view settings to my personal preference.
Works great for me.
Rud dr1 = throttle hold
Gear 0 = 3 axis gyro
Gear 1 = 6 axis gyro
mix = Ail + ele 60% 80% 100%
Fmod1 = 3D
ail dr = stable mode (i think)
hope it works
