I just received my Devo 10, and was pretty happy that it worked with my PC adapter.
I will have to use the Spectrum firmware for the FBL controller that I will be getting(I think), so I followed all of the instructions, and seem to have that part taken care of.
Problem is, the PC no longer sees the transmitter.
I can also not find the firmware download on Walkera's site, to restore it.
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA,
Bryan
P.S.
The RC is short for Racecar from an old gamer tag. I'm clueless about this Radio Control stuff.
Kinda funny that back in the day after I shortened it to RC to add an clan tag, that all of the questions started, about what kind of RC stuff LOL.

I'm guessing it won't bind to the little Walkera CP I have coming either anymore.
I just thought this was going to add protocols, not replace them.
So any fixes to make it easier would be nice .
Thanks,
Bryan

I found an v7 with an library v2, but no more PC adapter working.
I'm sure I'll have to run the deviation firmware for the FBL, and I'm sure the v7 Devo will work with the Walkera heli. Not too much hassle swapping, but would still like to run them all without having to swap back and forth. Especially if I want to keep my settings.
And I would still like to run the sims with this transmitter too.
Hoping y'all got some news.
I know it ain't been that long.
Just giving a heads up were I'm at.
Fix'n to throw some ducats down the proverbial hole of an Trex 600, and would hate to get another Tx just for the micro. That's supposed to be the whole purpose of the one transmitter. to get used to the one for all. I suffer enough on my FP RTF piece of junk toy.
Cheers,
Bryan

I was referring to the sim adapter I have.
It still has the USB capability.
So I'm able to change the firmware with no problem.
Out of the box, it worked with the adapter, and was seen by Windows, as an PPM.
It didn't see any of the switches, but the Gimbal channels worked great.
Smooooth as glass with Aerofly and neXt.
Just kinda bummed I lost that.
I'm sure I'll find the help I need in here to get this thing rolling though.
Thanks,
Bryan
P.S.
I used 1.7 for the first install of deviation, and 2.0 for the install of the version 7 firmware from Walkera(found an archive). The transmitter had version 8 out of the box, but my dumbass didn't back it up.

That's what I'm hoping for.linux-user wrote: What are you trying?
Stock Walkera firmware or Deviation ?
With Deviation you can control Spektrum-receivers and Walkera and USB-capable Simulator and many more at the same time - You change between them, simply by selecting new Model in your TX.
The USB sim dongle may have just taken an @#$t.
I've already put the deviation back in, and am working with it.
I've already ordered an new dongle.
I'll report back in a few weeks, when I have everything in hand.

victzh wrote: Yea, maybe you fried your USB dongle somehow. You need to select PPM as a protocol for your model for USB dongle to get the signal, check this as well.
WHOOO HOOOO !!!!
Page 51, deviation manual.
Now to figure out channels and switches to be recognized by Windows.
The gimbals work great though, and are smooth as glass.
Just trying to get total control with the TX, and not have to reach for the keyboard.
Cheers
