I can bind a979 with devo 7e ( nightly build)
but... a979 can't run backward....

Hi,
same problem a friend of mine have (had).
try this:
set the stick you use for FWD/REV with 9 point curve: -100, -65, -30, 0, 1, 0, 30, 65, 100.

I've also used curve like that. It run backward, but it need 0.5-1s in neutral position after forward and then it works.

Yes, the time in neutral is compulsory. even with the stock transmitter you have to make that pause in "0" to be able to run in backward.
