stupid questions! was created by tboneportly

				Hi
I updated my devo 7E with deviation, and I seem to have all the protocols, but I can't bind it to a MJX X600. do I need a model.ini file for this specific model? or do I just set it up using the menus and click the re-init option?
the process I am using is:
turn on hex
turn on tx
model menu > model setup >
model type - multi
Tx power - default
PPM In - None
*MJXq
select Re-Init > press ENT nothing happens...
any clues much appreciated
thanks!

you will need to add and enable an nrf24l01 rf module to enable use of the mjx protocol

thanks for the info - probably not what I want to be doing right at the moment.... next question!
what module would I need in the 7E to connect to APM 2.8 module in the hex I am building? If it needs the NRF24L01 I might do the mod, if it will use whatever is in there that's great, or I may buy a tx with the right module in it already.....
or, thinking about it, does that fact that I'm using a devo RX701 receiver in the hex mean that it will all be OK?
cheers!

You need no modification or module at all if you're using a devo receiver.
The modification is only needed if you want to use a receiver that is NOT Devo or Spektrum.

Also if you're using the 7e try and do the range mod before you do any serious flying
