Help- white screen after upgrade

I just upgraded my devo 10 to 5.0.0 and when I turn it on, I just get a white screen. It seems to be transmitting, but not all channels seem to be working. Did the initial upgrade using the deviation tool (java)in OSX and when it did this, I switched to windows and the walkera tool. I reinstalled it using that, but no better. I reinstalled the version of 4.0.1 from before, but still a white screen. what can I do?

Try format then reinstall ..be sure you have a copy of your model files and any other file you want save on the tx before you format...

Tried that, still nothing. I can still boot into USB mode and see the files. How could I adjust brightness and contrast with software?

You can edit the tx.ini file. This is where the tx remembers settings like brightness/contrast, model to boot up in and calibration points for all the inputs.

I looked at the tx.ini file and don't see anything related to brightness or contrast. Do I need to add some command? Also, I was checking out a flying wing and it seemed like some of my mixes were functioning but not others. Any thoughts?

Problem solved, I think. There was a blob of solder stuck to one of the pins on the plug for the LCD. Popped that off and it works, so far. Thanks to those who gave my problem some thought.
