How to bind Devo 10?

I installed the last Nightly Build (v5.0.0-658a6f2) to my Devo 10 to enable the FrSkyX protocol. I want to bind to a xm+ receiver. But I am not able to change the output power, it is always default. When I click "re-init" nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

enable-cyrf6936 = B12
has_pa-cyrf6936 = 1
enable-a7105 = A13
has_pa-a7105 = 1
enable-cc2500 = A14
has_pa-cc2500 = 1
enable-nrf24l01 = B7
has_pa-nrf24l01 = 1
But stil the same problem. Can't change tx power with frsky protocols, and if I hit "re-init" or "bind" with any protocol nothing happens.

Second, probably you do not hit correct Freq-Fine. Try all possible values -127 to +127 with step 10.

To use this tiny button on the XM+ is a bit tricky.
The center frequence is not far off from zero, this receiver is not a cheap toy grade receiver.

I ordered the S.Port Tool Kit from Hobbyking to flash a new firmware. Hopefully it is not the tx that is faulty. Is it right that there is no indication in the radio whether binding was succsessful or not? Or even that there is a device in binding mode.

A short press while powered ( max 1 second) programms the fail-safe.
Unlucky my receiver is buried in the quad and hardly to reach, so I can not verify what the leds are showing.
Edit: The most recent firmware for this receiver is "170313" and if your receiver has the "newer" 10cm antennas, the firmware
should be right on it.
( works with Devo, Taranis & 4in1)

What is in your ID field? Standart 123456 ? Clear this field and use reinit if you have not already tried this.
After a bind was successfull, there should be a computed ID shown, not at once, but if you move to this field and press ENTER.
If there is a number show , navigate to "done".to confirm this.

Can you say what is defective, the radio or the receiver?

The ID has to be 6 numbers not only 1.
If you have no other receiver, which is known to work , it is hard to guess if there is a defect.
Try the reinit function. and do not only try to bind with the standart ID.
If you donĀ“t leave the model menue or load a different model after clear, the standart ID will stay there for ever,.......
because the Devo does not save it to your current model file.
Edit: BTW, from where did you get the XM+?
