You are right, only the Devo protocol gives the re-init option if the ID is cleared.
Sorry, just did a test on that.
It has been a long time ago I set these D16 receivers up,..........running out of ideas........

I ordered a R-XSR two month ago. I will wait two more weeks for it to arrive, then I buy a new one. But if binding fails again, what to do? Send the radio to walkera?

No chance with Walkera. Btw, your transmitter is working and it could only be an issue with your 4in1 module.
Any other model to try with your transmitter? At which power setting do you try to bind, should not be obove 1mW or keep
some distance ( 2m ) to the model.
For the leds, if you get a solit green and red, your protocol is wrong, switch to the other one.

I always get a solid green and red LED when power up the receiver with pressed button, no matter if the transmitter is on or off or which protocol I use (tried both). I tried binding with 30 -100 mw. I just tried it with 1 mw and 2 meters distance and, who would have expected, no success. Two solid LEDs in binding mode, one flashing LED when not in binding mode, no matter what I do.

I don't think there's a way to determine whether it's the tx or rx just having those two items with the current symptoms. Need to check using another receiver or transmitter. Could inspect the 4in1 installation again. Double-check the connections and that they match the hardware.ini.

				My connections are like this:

; has_pa-cyrf6936 = 1
enable-a7105 = A13
has_pa-a7105 = 1
enable-cc2500 = A14
has_pa-cc2500 = 1
enable-nrf24l01 = B7
has_pa-nrf24l01 = 1
; enable-multimod = A13
