Doing a proper port to the Devo12 is a lot of work because it has a lot more capabilities than the other models. It is also a lot more expensive which makes it a less attractive target for me.
It may happen some day but I will probably do all of the cheaper models 1st.

Is there any plan to support devo 7?
I am not sure how hard this would be considering the screen difference. On top of the technical challenge, there is an ergonomic point to do better than the original firmware.

At the moment I don't think so. The screen is too limited, and without USB, programming is annoying. I have one, but I think defining the menus with a fixed-segment display is going to be an effort in frustration. I do plan to support the 7e though since it should be similar to the Devo10.ju211 wrote: Is there any plan to support devo 7?

To be honest, I think the devo7 display is close from useless.
What would be very interesting, is a possibility to program helis (including 24XX rx) on the computer and push them the devo7. The UI is already such a mess that I would not change configuration on the field anyway.
So imo you would not really have to define the menus.

I think the 8 lib should work, because they have the same size flash at the same address, but you can try it the other way: format the drive in USB mode, and copy the contents of the filesystem directory to it.
The DEVO 6 target is brand new and yet unpublished.
PB could tell...

Going back to walkera DEVENTION FWDT v0.6A and Lib v0.3
The bind-screen now shows a white bar on top (top ~ 2px, height ~ 40px, width = 320px).
Trying with FWDT v 0.5A and Lib v 0.3.FDR.v3 could not solve this.
Then i upgraded again to the DEVIATION devo6.dfu (d44742f64ed5)
Leave DFU mode.
Result:
Black screen.
Backlight is on.
No message to format via PC.
Explorer show no USB drive.
Tx off
Tx on with EXT
Upload Lib (from first devo8 release) with DfuSe
Leave DFU mode
Same result as above.

Weird, because the original lib (and mine as well) contains that screen, it looks like if it couldn't write that memory properly...
BTW the installation procedure of deviation without the lib is:
After upgrading to the deviation dfu you should turn off, then turn it on holding ENT. It will go into the USB mode, but since the "drive" is not formatted, Windows will offer to format it. Format using default settings, then copy the contents of the filesystem directory (5 dir + tx.ini) to it...

...turn on the tx with ENT pressed was it (i am ashamed)
After copying the content of the filesystem directory to the tx all is running.
Thanks for your help.
ps: d44742f64ed5 holds only 4 dir and no tx.ini
I have used an older version for now.
