The PR with the fix has been merged. This fix should be available for all Deviation targets with the upcoming nightly builds. i'm using quite some XM/XM+ receivers with my Deo010 without any issues. They using various firmware versions and you always need to bind with the matching parameters.

In my understanding the T8SG Plus V3 should use the V2 software since it has an LCD screen and not an OLED. This is also what the web site is indicating.

I dont have an T8SG myself but you can always flash back a working firmware if the actual firmware does not work. if you come from an older build you may also need to update the USB drive content (also part of the builds I send). You may backup the actual USB drive content to be save.

if you dont know what firmware your XM+ has installed you need to try all four possible combinations for "Format" and "Version" off the FrSkyX protocol.

FCC, V1
FCC, V2
EU, V1
EU, V2

All my XM+ came with V1 firmware and FCC or LBT (EU) is usually labeled at the packaging. You may also need to tune Freq-Fine in steps of +/-40 during bind if you have no success.
