Hi, can anyone explain how the timer works? I'm just starting with the deviation and the timer or the countdown timer is running. But it's all time running. I want to count up, when i put the throttle up.(and the countdown down)

You've probably selected a wrong switch.
You should use the throttle channel (Ch3 for DEVO, Ch1 for DSM) as a switch...

It won`t work .
I have put the channel ( Nr. 3 ) into the timer. It will not start ??!! what do you mean "as a switch" ?

There is a spinbox on the timer config labelled as "Switch".
You should select "Ch3" into it to start the timer with the throttle channel in case of the DEVO protocol.

On a related note- how do you reset the timer?
I don't see anything in standard gui.

If nothing is selected to reset in the settings, then a long press on the box will do it. Tap to start, tap to stop, long press to reset.

Question. First I have not done the upgrade of the deviation software I do have the Devo 8s and the 7e. What I like about the timer on the 7e is that for me its loud enough to hear plus it vibrates. On the 8s the audio is to loud for me and it does not vibrate.
Now with the upgraded software does any of this change ?

The 8s wont be able to vibrate, but you can adjust the buzzer volume in deviation.

Log pressing EXT doesn't seem to reset the temporary timer on the Devo 10.
Is there a way other than turning the unit off and on or am I missing it?
