V2x2 and V922 are served by nRF24L01. eBay sellers use all the RF chip names to extend visibility in the search results, but the first one is usually the right one. So search for "nRF24L01 PA" (PA stands for Power Amplifier, meaning it is long range module). Modules without PA can be very range limited, we're not talking about 1000m, rather 30m or so.

I personally like this one:

I like it because it comes with a u.fl connector. which gives a lot of flexibility as far as antenna choices and mounting location goes.
But I've used a few different ones now, and they all are basically the same design.

Now just have to figure out the channel order etc...
Important question about these modules... Are they getting power ALL the time? I know that if you power a module with no antenna connected you could burn out the TX module.... Do I have to keep an antenna on all the time or can I remove it when not using SLT?
By the way... THANK YOU! You guys are awesome for adding all these protocols... really great....

Again.. thanks.
Really want to know about the antennas though. Not sure where to mount it on my devo12 if it has to stay on all the time.

ps. thanks for the answer about the power, by the way...
I guess the danger is, that if I were to select a model that uses the new module and forget to put the antenna on first it could fry the module... hmmmm....
