Ham fisted de-soldering lifts 4 pads off a Devo 7E

Thank you for taking the time to explain, I learned something too, didn't know what a via is although I've heard them mentioned before. Always forgot to look it up... cool. Fingers crossed I don't let that magic smoke out, pic follows...

Ended up using 680*F, small bent tip, hakko 888-d. This is the first 7E I unsoldered the original module on, ended up lifting 1 pad there too, so only needed 5V...
