The Devo12 is a more complicated system than the other Devo radios. Porting the Devo8 code directly to the Devo12 would probably not be hard, but taking advantage of the Devo12 capabilities would take a lot of work. As I don't have a Devo12, I am unable to do the work, and I'd rather work on the less expensive models.kohansey wrote: I'm amazed at how quickly you guys have advanced this project in the past few months. I am just look through the user manual now. I've noticed that the releases have been mainly geared for the Devo 6 and Devo 8. Is the firmware compatible with Devo12's? Do you guys need some help with a Devo 12 port? Great work guys.
So I do not have immediate plans to support the Devo12 at this time.

From how it is wired, I'd guess it is the LCD display driver (I assume the ribbon cable goes to the display?)kohansey wrote: There is one chip on the circuit that has the markings scrapped off. Does anyone know what this chip is?

I've seen pics, but there isn't anyone to help with development for this tx.kohansey wrote: Reading through the forum, articles, and most of the links, it doesn't appear that you have any information on the Devo12 hardware. When I had first joined 2 months ago, I was under the impression you have photos of the circuit board and someone with the Devo 12 to help. Is this not the case? Do you guys need someone to trace out the pin connections for the devo 12? Do you have any specs?
High-res pics of the front and back of the main-board would be useful, as would be starting to document specs and connections.

Not that I'm aware of. We'll certainly need to know the panel and how the ribbon is wired to try to figure out what driver chip that could be.kohansey wrote: Yup. Is there any information on the LCD panel used, before I got tearing away the controller to get to the panel.

Edit: the pinout of th ssd1926 doesn't seem to match up with this chip, so we'll have to search some more.
