You don't need Rx for that. Set telemetry voltage sensors for boxes, for model with Devo protocol and for model with DSMX protocol. Then change model and you will see that box with sensor changed. If you reboot Tx, box with sensor will restore.

@rbe2012
Thanks for looking at #352 (AR7200BX). I think I was the one who wrote that one up.
I have 2 BX's, and at the time I wrote that up I was having a problem with both of them while using my 8S, but no problems with my Spectrum DX8. My Devo 8S has been on the shelf ever since. The problem may have been resolved in the nightlies, but I haven't heard that #352 was actually addressed. I would really like to use my Devo 8S to fly with the BX's. I like the Devo 8S much better than the DX8.

Sorry clearprop88,
I expected to see a flyer yesterday who has a Blade 300x with ar7200bx, but he was sick and did not come. This was my only chance for the next few weeks.

I just have a flight today using AR7200BX in my Align 250 DFC. I fly 10 batteries without encountering any instability issue, so I think the problem is gone or just not there.
I used the latest firmware 3.1.0 in AR7200BX.

I can not reproduce this. I have the option in both emulators (if I enable the protocol with "enable-a7105=A13" in tx.ini) and in any combination the option is saved.

Strange! It is there in the emu_devo10, but missing from the 8 and 12!

I have fixed some issues. Here is the actual list of open issues from PB:
Here is the list of bugs reported in PBs repo:
And here the list of issues fixed in the deviation-3.1 repo:
What next?
I will publish all versions in my repo ( download area ) so you can test it if you want.
Here is the list of bugs reported in PBs repo:
#32 | Nine-Eagles binding with non-telemetry module | won't fix actually |
#56 | Model won't re-connect when Tx is rebooted. | PB said: this works as intended. Rebind is possible with fixed ID (Devo, DSM2, DSMx) - won't fix |
#60 | Fixed ID is not the same assigned by Walkera radios | only a problem when sharing rx between WK2801 tx and deviation tx - won't fix |
#195 | Virt channel as a source | Discussion did not lead to a result - won't fix |
#334 | devo10-v3.0.0 rebooted | singular problem, PB has fixed, but no feedback - nothing to do |
#352 | AR7200BX Compatibility Issue | After the latest testing this issue seems to be gone - nothing to do actually |
#356 | Errors.txt is not generated on Devo12 | just for debugging - don't care actually |
#370 | Devo 12 sliders | not sure if we should change the behavior - won't fix |
#373 | Devo 7e Hangs going to menu | sounds like an incomplete installation, error not confirmed for actual version - won't fix |
#374 | Devo 7e Reboots on moddel resett | not confirmed fro actual version - won't fix |
#375 | DEVO 8s start bug | also not confirmed, in 3.0.0 - won't fix |
#382 | Devo 12 reboot with telemetry | can't test this - won't fix |
#386 | Dev08s Reset while using Flysky V911 protocol | unclear behavior, won't fix |
#387 | devo10 hangs at bootup | probably defective hardware - won't fix |
#388 | Standard Mixer GUI | Probably an issue due to incompatible model files (version changes) - won't fix |
#419 | Flysky protocol option always Off after reboot on Devo7e | was not able to reproduce - wait until confirmed again |

It's because I never looked into this part of code and it seems to me to need a huge effort - and I am not sure if it is worth this now. I think that PB is the only one who could read the error.txt and he seems to be still absend - so there is no use of the errors.txt at all.SadSack wrote: Errors.txt is not generated on Devo12

Finally have my NAS server back up and running. Couldn't get CentOS to see my Areca card. Had to resort to building a Windows server. Just cloned deviation-3.1 and am building now. Will test on my Devo10 shortly. Have a few spare hours today as its my day off.
UPDATE: Been running this through the menus and can report so far that everything I have tried is working so far on the Devo 10!

Possibly it was discussed already. Is it possible to remap channels mixers automatically with protocol change or it will be complex task?

Thanks, RBE. On first glance all looks fine!!! Tested with two models, after changing protocol (DEVO, DSMX) channels mixers remapped ideally, no problems.

Found one drawback only. Timers switch remains without change, CH3 or CH1.
I dont know if there is any need to change it.

IMO yes.
The Ch3 could be used in a lot of places as source or switch. They should be all exchanged, if you want the same behaviour...
So yes, I think it is complex...
