Im trying to get my EZUHF that i have connected to the trainer port that has PPM output, i only seem to get 8 channels to work, does the devo 12s output more that 8 channels via the trainer port?

It is all about timing.
AFAIK this is what possible with standard pulse widths in a standard frame size...
Have you tried to change the PPM properties, for example increase the frame size to see if there could be more channels fit in. You can try to decrease the notch pw a bit too...

Is it possible to change the ppm properties using the stock software? do you decrease accuracy by adding more bits in the same stock space?

Oh no, with the stock fw yo can't change the PPM properties.

AFAIK supports PPM only 10 channels (due to timing restrictions).
