Hi,
Quite a while ago PhracturedBlue mentioned that we can't use dfu-utils but have to use the Walkera DFuSe that runs only on windows.
Do you have any more information on what they do to the firmware? Or should I wire up a black magic probe into my transmitter?
I really hate the fact that I have to deal with windows.
(yes that includes virtual machines, wines and other crap) Having the possibility to upload the firmware even with a custom script would be an improvement.
Cheers,
Esden

PhracturedBlue wrote: Do not use the dfu-utils to program the Tx. The dfu is 'encrypted' by the Walkera DFuSe tool (using the STM32 unique-id). I will eventually create a custom programmer that implements the necessary changes to dfu-utils, but it is still a ways off.

Try this one, works fine for me on (X)ubuntu12.04

Sadly the AVR Programming code for Devo8 cannot be flashed with this one (complains about wrong radio), but I flash my custom deviation builds with this one.
