Hello everyone ?

I am looking the source code of Deviation 4.0.1(on this site: Deviation Releases > Deviation 4.0.1).

I installed a tortoisehg.
I got Rev2096(Description: Added tag v4.0.1 for changeset 9a642a12446d) from repository(bitbucket.org/PhracturedBlue/deviation).
And, I got devo7e.dfu file from this code. (I'm a devo7e user.)
I installed new devo7e.dfu file to my devo7e.

But, I got error message from my devo7e.
The error message is "Bad/missing protocol modules!".

So, I did that overwriting protocol folder on devo7e.
(this is describe on the "Deviation10UserManual".)
But, The error message does not disappear.

I don't know my problem.

I think that Rev2096 is different to Deviation 4.0.1(on this site: Deviation Releases > Deviation 4.0.1).
Actually, devo7e.dfu(build by me) vs. deviation-devo7e-v4.0.1.dfu(download from release in this homepage)
These files are not same on equivalent check tool (WinMerge).

Could you tell me about my problem ?

Thank you.

Nightly Build: v4.0.1-548bbf5 (6/9/2015)

No, I din't install additional RF module in my 7E.
The error occurred in DEVO protocol.

In Error State,
If I replace deviation-devo7e-v4.0.1.dfu file(from Release site), the error is disappear.

So, I think that my source code is different to deviation-devo7e-v4.0.1.dfu file(from this site).

I need a source code about deviation-devo7e-v4.0.1.dfu file(from Release site).

thank you.

When you update the DFU file, you have to install the files in the objs/devo7e/protocol folder as well. Those go in the protocol directory on the Tx's USB drive. Even if you build from the sources for 4.0.1, the protocol modules aren't guaranteed to work with the ones in the distribution. You may be able to do that if you install the exact same toolchain and libraries as were used to build the distribution, but still no guarantees. I can't tell you what those were, so just build the modules and install the new ones.

Note that current development is taking place in the deviationTx/deviation bitbucket repository. You can check that out, then check out v4.0.1 to get the 4.0.1 sources. Depending on what you're doing, you may want to use the tip of the default branch instead.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
