Noob needs some help with model ini was created by steadfast4life
I just downloaded deviation 4.0.1 with nrf24L01 and A7105. 5.0.0 keeps giving me errors messages that both my modules cant be found yet 4.0.1 recognizes both of them. Wierd but oh well. My question is about model ini's. How do you upload them? Is it through the usb interface by pressing ENT and turning on the transmitter? I know they are in the model file. How can you upload them into the model file? Thanks for your help.

Yes, USB with ENT button.
Nightly-build / 5.0 release: AFAIK new hardware wiring + hardware.ini instead of tx.ini.
You just download model.ini files and copy them into the model/ directory.
Or...you 1st program a file on the transmitter, and edit/modify it on the directory in USB mode.

as far as I know....
I am not into those modules...but I know either on the Wiki or in 2-3/4 forum posts they were talking about new different wiring. Well - I am not 100% sure

Yes, great radio.
Devo 10 is my Spektrum DX8G1 replacement (with it's limited 1st Airware firmware).
However I would wish Walkera would further improve the Devo 10:
- by DX8G1 kind like rubber sides (better feeling) + bottom
- better intensive vibration alarm (I liked DX8G1 more)
- better battery box cover which can not open automatically (DX8G1 has slider which is very fixed and does not open by accident) or on a higher dimension 2300mah nimh battery

I'm thinking of upgrading the vibration alarm and spraying the back with Plasti-dip for a more rubberized grip. I use a 1800mah 3s LIFE battery which works really well, lasts longer than nimh. The thing I'll miss about DX6 is the voice alarms.
