Hi !
I'm sorry that it still didn't work and I'm afraid I can't do more for you.
But at least you have your DXe - better than nothing . . . At least you can fly.

Hi all,
I have just got an apache, and I'm going to build a configuration from scratch on my devo 6s.
Everything seems to be fine, but the panic button doesn't work, I set it to +125 (can't get more) on channel 5 as stated in this thread.
Instead I find a clue on rcgroups that say that panic is governed from channel 7 (aux2) from -100 to +100.
This way it seems to work statically (I've not yet tried fliyng).
So, definitively, panic is on ch 5 or 7 ?
Thanks

Hi !
On my Devo 7E (!) panic is initiated by channel 5 :
OFF= 100
ON= 150
But also channel 7 changes:
OFF= -100
ON= +100
How to achieve 150 on channel 5:
Go to:
Model Menu
Mixer
5-HOLD (left side of the menu)
Safety : The switch and the ON position
Safe Val= 150
Both channel 5 and channel 7 are triggered by a switch of your choice

Hi Gerhard,
tank you for the explanation.
Just last question:
on rcgroup they say:
Panic is controlled on aux2 channel, -100 to enable, +100 to disable. Assign it to any switch you fancy, you do not have to use the bind button.
which is the reverse of your config, which is the correct one ? Panic ON -100 or +100 ?
Thanks

Hi !
Honestly said - I hadn't dealt with my helos the last half year, therefore I'm a little bit out of business . . .
I had just taken a look at my radio, that's the infos I had given to you.

Hi guys,
I buyed this hely and I've devo 10 with deviation 4.02 at the moment...
I would like to know how to enter in the various settings mode, to set middle servo harm position for example.
The hely manual speak about to pull binding switch in spektrum radio and move sticks in appropriate position depend to witch setting you have to do.
In Devo what is the switch that correspond to spekctrum binding switch...or how to set it in the radio...

Thanks at all

Your Devo Radio with Deviation Software there's no binding switch, it's made by software. Go into the menus
with ENTER / Model Menu / Model setup / Bind. Then press ENTER.
BUT :
Depending on the heli (and the same if I remember right with the 230S) you have to apply the Bind-Plug on the receiver (for the very fist binding procedure) first. Look at the manual !

Good luck !

Hi Gerhard_H,
thanks but I know that Deviation make bind via software...my issue not is bind.
I'll try explain better. Sorry for my english.

The problem is how to activate advanced settings at Blade 230s.

If you read manual you may go to special functions to do specific settings as, for example, center servo harm to make better swashplate levelling or set gain prameter adjustement.
To do all that and how activate this special function is explained in the blade manual (at mine is at page 12).

I report some istructions to enter in Gain Adjustement mode (as an example):
...
6. Move and hold both transmiter sticks to the bottom right corner as shown.
7. Press and hold the bind/panic switch. The model is now in Gain Adjustement Mode.
...
How you see the instructions speak about bind/panic switch...
So how do I do this with Deviation software? May I use the simple panic switch that I set in my model?

Thanks again

Hi,
I'm sorry but I'm afraid I can't give you more help since I hadn't much done with my helos nearly the whole last year due to intensive engagement with my other hobby (music).
But as I can see You do know what You want to know exactly, for instance "How can I achieve Gain Adjustment under Deviation for a 230S". If I were you I would place a new request as detailed as possible.

The bind/panic switch on the spectrum transmitters isn't magic - at least not once you've bound with it. When you use it other than at power on - as a panic switch - it's just another switch. Typically, blade use a dedicated channel for panic, so all you have to do is figure out what that channel is. If you've got a panic switch for your 230s, just hitting that should do the trick. If you don't, you can ask here if someone had one or could make one. If you get really desperate, you can support me on patreon (patreon.com/mwm) and I'll chase down a manual and sweet it up for you.

Does your reply concern auceto's post ? He neither has an issue with binding nor panic switch . . . He wanted to know how to gain access to extended settings.
OK, thx anyway for reply :)

Yes, it does concern his post. And according to him, you get to those settings by "pressing and holding the panic/bind switch".

Based on his saying he wasn't having an issue binding, I assumed that he wants to know how to make deviation do whatever a Spektrum Tx does when you "hold and press the panic/bind switch" Which is what I told him how to do.

It may be that he needs to bind with the Tx sticks in that position, but he indicated otherwise.

Assuming that what you mean when you say "bind/panic button" and what he says when he says "bind button" are the same thing, then just like he says/I told you to. What buttons/switches are used for hold mode, the panic/bind button and the flight mode will depend on your model config.
