Never done this before. How does one go about requesting an .ini file for something as new as this?

You don't. Quadcopter setups are essentially identical in regards to sticks and modes. Anything specifically for cleanflight, baseflight, betaflight will work.. the hardware doesn't matter, the software is the same.

+1 to the above. I fly APM but find all of the reading helpful.
