Hi Rolf,

I am very interested in using the Deviation with Brain 2 and SPM4649T! Does this just work straight out of the box or do you have to make adjustments? Which version of Deviation is necessary?

Thanks a lot
Tobias

Yes, they work together out of the box. Meanwhile I am using 3 helis (Oxy 2, Voodoo 400 and 600) wirh this combination. You have to use the protocol-option SRXL in Brain 2. I am using telemetry-values into my Devo 6s with telemetry alarms. The types of telemetry-values you get into your brain 2 and TX varies on your installed ESC and RPM-signal.

Walkera Devo 6s, 7e and 10, Jumper T8SG v2+ lcd, Brain 2, Spektrum satellites and SPM4649T

That is great news! Thanks for the info. I will have to get a (couple of) SPM4649T then!

Hi all,

i'm using a Devo 10 running Deviation 5 with protocols devo10-v5.0.0-2019-10-29. Receiver is SPM4649T connected to a flybarless 3Digi. Additionally there is an S32 aka JLog 3 which sends telemetry data to the SPM4649T via SRXL.
Setup is basically working, however i do not receive any of the telemetry that the S32 should send. S32 is logging data to SD card, but on the Devo 10 i do not see anything in the datalog except the flight log data, i.e. fades, holds, losses etc. That data does not come from the S32 but is sent from the SPM4649T directly.
I do not know whether sending of data from S32 to SPM4649T fails, or whether there is a problem in the Devo 10 displaying that data.
Other people report that telemetry is working in that setup together with a Spektrum Sender.
Now i'm wondering what is wrong in my setup.
Is it possible, that the telemetry data is correctly sent by the SPM4649T but there is something missing in the deviation version i am using for correctly decoding it?

Best regards,
Gerd

Probably S32 (aka JLog3) currently does not support SRXL, but can work with Spektrum telemetry module.

Supported telemetry systems:

Multiplex MSBv1, MSBv2
JETI v1 (JETIbox), EX, EXbus
Graupner/SJ HoTTv4 all 5 sensors (ESC, GAM/GEM, EAM, VARIO, GPS)
Futaba (S.Bus2) 6 Sensors: ESC TEMP TEMP TEMP ESC CUR
Horizon SPEKTRUM (TM1000) (coming: bidirectional "SRXL Protocol")
HiTec
JR DMSS
FrSky S.Port

Hmm, did you look at a cached version of that page?
The current version of that page states that S32 does support SRXL.
