And then if there's something else you'd like to know, ask again here.
Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

What binding procedure are you using exactly? Deviation doesn't bind in quite the same way the official Tx does. Also, you aren't getting any errors about the CC2500 not being available, are you? if not, the cc2500 must be detected, and should be working. You don't see an '*' next to the Frsky protocol do you?
My bind procedure is:
Turn on Deviation Transmitter
Set protocol to Frsky
Make sure Telemetry is off (just to be sure)
Set Fixed ID to 123456
turn on the Rx while holding the bind button down (get dual flashing lights)
press 'bind' button on the Model menu.
wait for bind menu to go away
turn off rx
turn off tx

here is what i have going on:
-Deviated Devo 8s w/ latest nightly build
-Ali express cc2500 module installed www.aliexpress.com/item/CC2500-PA-LNA-wi...-2-4G/359941652.html
-jumped pins 5 to 10, and 7 to 9 on module as per instructions.
-antenna connected, protocol frsky appears with no star, everything enabled correctly by removing ";" on the cyrf module, cc2500 module, and a7105 module. PA's also enabled
-A7105 module works with no issue (test flew a proto x with it)
-checked solder and wires over and over, everything is matching up.
Will now keep checking wires as well as trying alternate scheme suggested by P.Blue (9 and 10 pins to power and ground).
If anybody already has a solution and it works for me I will buy them a beer!

wired pin 9 to power (pin 1), and pin 10 to ground (pin 6). pins 5 and 7 were left empty- unconnected.
the effect is the same, still unable to bind to d4r-ii with my deviated 8s.

You may have one of the CC2500 modules with shifted base frequency.
You may need to tweak the "fine" variable. Ask somebody here tells you how to do that.

I'll try it, does anybody here know how to tweak the fine variable? Or where to look it up?
