It works with a servo. All channels ok.
So the problem either in cleanflight or the SPracing board itself.
Those chinese clones are not that reliable...
Edit : its the board, I had to setup IBUS and connect to UART3 to get a signal.

ArbitraryNotion wrote: Anyone had any luck binding to an Eachine IA6 or a FlySky IA6 (not ? I can't seem to get either to bind with the 3 in 1 mod chip. I can get my little H8 to bind with the proper protocol (BangYang?) just fine.

H8/bayang use the NRF module, that implies nothing about FlySky.
Took me some time to figure, here is how I successfully bound the Eachine IA6:

So I'd hope that the A7105 module would be ok. I picked up a used Proto X which uses the A7105 and that doesn't want to bind either tho
I thought that the Devo10 checked for installed modules and if you had it turned on in the ini that it would error out if it didn't work.
About your instructions, no offense, but I'm not really sure what you are saying:
Totally against my habit and good RC practice:
-bind (the whole process of getting the light to go from fast flashing to solid or just plugging in the bind plug)
-power off TX and RX, remove bind plug (all at the same time or in that order?)
-power up RX
-power up TX
I have another A7105 module. Would it hurt anything to remove the cs_7105 wire from the 3 in 1 and tie in the new A7105?

0. No offense taken at all. (My) good practice is to switch tx on first, then rx.
1. Yes, the whole process. If you see LED activity changing on the rx the tx-module should be good to go.
2. Power down order didn't seem to be crucial, I don't remember the exact order to be honest. In case it doesn't work try both ways. I never touched the bind plug with the rx under power.
3. The order of powering up again was the point that trapped me for many many attempts.

im Testing and flying the latest Test build now some Time and all looks good at the response of the Plane.
At long Range the Signal is good and i have no Dropouts at line of sight with my 2 Meter Plane.
Testet With the 8s and the 12s from a Friend.
but we have some Bugs:
I tested the Stable 5.0.0 and the Latest Nightly , here is the Bug not present !
I am loosing one of the Big Boxes at Main Screen after Power Cycle with the Flysky A2 Test Build ( it jumps to delete at the Menu ) .
This is at 8s and 12s.
The Telemetry is working on the 8s, but at the 12s is the Range very short, here we doing some cross check with a new Module later.
Greetings Alex

Also, I really have to complete the telemetry part, your TX is taking dust here
Meanwhile, I'll probably push the protocol to nightly as it is anyway as it's working fine.

At 5:25 painless 360 shows that TGY IA6-C receiver might work with afhds 2A protocol by flysky.
(full name of receiver at hobbyking product page: PPM/SBUS Receiver 8CH 2.4G AFHDS 2A Telemetry Receiver (EU Warehouse))
This receiver looks considerably promising as it's small enough for a nice tight quadcopter build featuring PPM and Sbus in a small formfactor.
Would it be compatible with my Devo 7E using the new goebish AFHDS-2A protocol?
In the video the receiver can be bound to a flysky FSI6S.
Good luck everyone!
If its not possible help me out of my dream XD because its about to be ordered

Don't expect an usable range from it, but at least that should confirm if there's problem with the A7105 in your 3-in-1

If it's using AFHDS 2A protocol then yes, it should work.
