goebish wrote: Hmmm probably a stupid question, but are you sure the module you have in your 7e can do 250Kbps ?

I tested unscrambled mode + crc with 9 byte payload on my test xn297 RX (but at 1Mbps...) and it's working fine, when I start my Devo10 with i6S protocol selected (but hacked for 1MBps...) my "rx" receives the bind packets.

Yes it's the same module for both my Devo10 & 7E. I will test the Devo10 build

That's weird, I'm sure my algo returns the same result than with using a table, or my XN297 RX wouldn't receive anything with CRC enabled ...

Can you check if other xn297 protocols are working with this version please ?

Lol, I feel dumb, my H7 doesn't bind anymore either with this version ...
I'll check what's wrong.

That's mind-blowing, I can see that the 2 versions send the same packets, with the same crc and all.... my test rx (an actual xn297) receives them, still the quads don't bind with the 2nd one...

Anyway, I was able to build the previous version for 7e as well, so it should be fine until I find what's wrong...
it has aileron/elevator swapped and rudder reversed.

Ok binding fine now :)

AIL/ELE swap ok :) RUDDLER inverted ok :)
Please inverse also AIL & ELE ... ( I forgot that)

Actually no extra channels are working ...

Version with extra channels, note that I couldn't find the flag in the "flip" capture, I suppose it requires a bit of throttle to work, can you make another capture for that ? (The quad doesn't need to be switched on, so you can capture at full throttle ;)).

CHANNEL5 LIGHT
CHANNEL6 FLIP (not working ...)
CHANNEL7 SNAPSHOT
CHANNEL8 VIDEO
CHANNEL9 HEADLESS

Do you have a chance to test the MT99xx sub format ?

Works fine with the MT99XX (at least flips, camera, & photo)

One general remark for the i6s & MT9XX. in general i use the throttle trim down to trigger camera recording. I am using the same config file with other protocols; Here, I need to keep hold down the trim button to continue the recording. There is a away to have a real latch D ?

Thanks for testing :)

Sorry I cannot do what you want with trim button, but I think it can be done with the mixer settings no ?
(I admit I still have to read Deviation manual , after almost 3 years...)

We forgot to check something: arbitrary tx id, my previous build has yours hardcoded, your values matched the known algo but better check before pushing as the protocol is not exactly the same.

With any fixed ID is no more binding ... :(
only empty one and ID = 2 are working now ... :(

Ok, so it's different... That doesn't surprise me much because it matched the algo, but it was a special case (channel offset from reference table = 0). I'll try something later but if it doesn't work I'll need a capture from at least one other i6S TX to understand how it works. (or a few captures from the RX, with some non working IDs, not easy as there's no test points to attach the probes to...)

Meanwhile, the code to be pushed has an hardcoded ID (just 1 byte), not a big deal unless 2 fliers want to use this protocol in the same area ;) it should be noted on the compatibility spreadsheet tho.
