Made some progress:
Some housekeeping on windows (not sure what it all was)
Got dfuse to work and seems to have loaded ok
Also formatted and installed file structure.
Main screen only displays heli logo so on to reading the manual.

Update: Mission accomplished. After a few false starts transmitter seem to be ready for use.

Ass we al know there is a release of the Deviation firmware 3.0.0

But it says "◾Note that the Devo12 support uses the Devo8 GUI and does not take full advantage of the larger screen yet"

So when to expect full version with large screen??

rbe has a full screen version, but don't ask for an ETA, nobody knows when it will be ready.

We could try to merge deviation 3.0.0 with my older repo or with the one of Hexperience. So we could give a big screen version a try with 3.0.
My own full screen version will need at least another week or two.

Yes, I have seen there is some interest in it. But I ran out of time now; not sure when I will be ready. Maybe the next weekend will give some progress.

deviationtx is an amazing project....
