Can't wait to have mine in hands. Will probably provide enough motivation to further improve voice feature

Sounds good. Do you have the part number for the speaker PCB connector?

It should be a PH1.25mm connector , I got it from my old walker mini cp tail motor.

I tried to install Frsky X9D+ speaker in T8SG V2 puls , it's OK! it's same diameter.

2S LiPo batteries are best choice for Jumper T8SG V2 / V2 plus.
please turn on your speaker.
1, 4XAA batteries test.
2, 2S LiPo batteries test.

It sure seems like the 3.3v regulator is dropping out of regulation. You see in test 1 that problems tend to show up exactly when the increased current of the voice message is in progress. In test 3 you see that the reported battery voltage jumps upward when the voice message is underway. The erroneous reporting of a higher battery voltage was seen on the original T8SG when the battery dropped a little below 7 volts resulting in the 3.3v regulator drop out. Since the 3.3v bus is the reference for the battery reading, any drop will result in an erroneously higher battery reading. This sure looks like the same effect, but now occurring at about 5.1v at the current level on your transmitter. That is bad news for anyone who would like to use 4xAA. Someone should really do an input voltage scan while monitoring the 3.3v and 5v bus to understand the behavior and limitations of this new power system.

I have excactely the same issue on my U7E that the voltage shown on the display is jumping, the fluctuation is more when using highest power and in my case Frsky is worst than flysky. So this is not a coincedence......
I expected the 3v3 stock regulator to be the issue, so I replaced it by heavier one. But still same issue.
Then I placed large capacitances 470uf on 3v3 rail and I placed one on the ADC volt sense input for battery monitoring still same issue. (it made voltage battery readouts slowly changing, but still it displayed the same fastly flucuations as without the capcitors..) The fluctuation btw is slow, is the vbat monitored at low sample rate?
I can remember at the time I tried RFI pick-up holding the flex coax with tx antenna close to the board and wires, but I could not point out were was the issue coming from.
In terms of RFI design, I would expect that all I/O pins pots switches, should at least have some capacitance or filtering close to the pcb, the pcb could be shielded, the wires could be twisted and have a ferrite choke, or use coaxes.
especially when using 2watt uhf links most Tx have issue due to bad shielding and RFI pick up.

Wow! That explains it. The original T8SG had the buzzer, LCD, and other auxiliary stuff on the 5v bus. You really don't want the voice stuff that has bursts of activity on the same 3.3v regulator that supplies the 4-in-1 RF chips and reference voltages for the ADC. If the voice stuff has to be on 3.3v, then a second dedicated regulator for auxiliary equipment would be a safer design.

Will be better to find 5.0V source on T8SG V2 mainboard and connect DFPlayer Vcc to 5.0V.
