Devo f12e fpv stops working after deviation

If it's taking you a 2W booster to get to 1000m something in seriously wrong...

1000m is barely "full range", I fly my 3-in-1 equipped u7e with Frsky protocol out to >1MILE (max range in a test and I regularly fly beyond 800m just for fun) and my D10 with its stand alone Cc2500 does even better than that!

As a licensed HAM I've never been a fan of using a booster however of you're only able to attain 800m when using a booster it's pretty clear something big is wrong somewhere.

I guess you didnt read the part when i said my test was not open space. There were plenty of obstacles in the way. When my friend did the test in open space he got 2.somethingkm.

Why is it incorrect? The LCD panel used in F12E is 5" 800x480 one.

If you supply these parameters incorrectly the whole image will be defective, not only video signal. The defective ones are specifically tied to analog signal interlay.
I'll try to figure out which ones exactly by bisection of changed parameters and watching the result.

If you have any other builds youd like me to test ill be looking at this thread once a day to keep up to date on the f12e

Interesting. I'm trying to figure all this TFT thing out for some time already, not only for this chip, but how it's done in general. They have many similarities with analog TV signal in all these front and back porches, scanlines etc. May be couple extra lines are OK Or maybe because of this 1.5 has this strange behavior.

I figured what actually does not work - register 0xBE, value 0x42 - auto-calculation of FPHS period.
All other settings affect something, but this one makes window flood with white when TV signal is present.
1.3, 1.3a, 1.6a - all these settings do not use auto-calculation and work despite slightly different parameters.

When I saw the 1.15.17 nightly I said great they fixed the fpv problem but when i installed it and got the grey white screen when connecting to my fpv transmitter I got so depressed. Whats up is it a hard fix?

I have some settings working satisfactorily on my F12E. I can promote it to trunk so that others try them also.

Please do it i am always interessed in news for the F12E

Are you the "only" one who is able to answer questions about the F12E ?

I tried some other things - (they are not important) and they dont work. But i dont want to make any stress.

If you have time to answer - let us know which function we can test

Of active developers I'm probably the only one who has F12E. I bought cheap damaged one and replaced LCD.

The modification I submitted is video - it should work in the next nightly build (not current).
