The english language is not a translation, but comes from the deviation-manual git repository.
You can fork that repo, and send pull requests to that, but be aware that every change in the english original will void all the translations too...

Probably yes, all unicode characters should be supported.fneuf wrote: Are you supporting all characters in Deviation ? Like "œ" for instance.
And would it also be possible to gain access to the "English" language, if we have suggestions to make?

Does it exist a less impacting way to propose suggestions or make changes in the original text?

The "module tags" are within a macro in the rst files and get ignored by the scripts which generate the source strings for transifex somehow. Haven't looked into it yet...

And where are the sources for the actual menus and options translations inside Deviation firmware?

It's old language files.
You need "make language" to get fresh version.

True. Shouldn't we automatically run "make language" via Travis on new master commits and push lang files back to github? I guess we could possibly also integrate it into transifex...

Wouldn't it ruin the language files?
If I remember well, the "make language" command will sign the unused texts, but will leave their translations, and also include the new texts, but without a translation.
Can the fw use such a half baked language file without problem?

I have a problem with transifex. I can't scroll down "ch_model", it become frozen at half way down, nearby "Available curves".

I have finished the french translation and now I cannot access the translated text. This makes impossible to correct a typo or a mistake. Would it be possible to continue to have access to the translated text to amend it.
