if i turn on both quads, and then run the binding sequence, both will fly the same time
so the binding does not have unique pairing code...

This is common with many RC-toy protocols.
Still the transmitter can choose an individual ID per session (random or per TX) - often affecting RX/TX Address (think of "MAC-Address") and / or RF Channel(s) it sends on.
And can you please clarify: You've paired using original Transmitter ?

1. turn on quad 1
2. turn on quad 2
3. turn on original tx
4. binding process (up-down)
5. both stop blinking, both fly

I know is not exactly on topic, but also I, did the "synchro dance" with 3*V272.
And the reason could be: all this new micro quads, regardless the shape, all are kind of the same conception (clones, clones of clones, etc). So, would not be a surprize also for the CX-10s to behave like a "swarm". Which is not bad atoll, it's quite funny .

I friend of mine did the mods for me. I have V4.0.1. Is this the latest?

RED CX-10's are flying nicely now
One question left: how to make the flips?
Thanks

OK... aaaand?
What should I program to the switch?
What action is equivalent to the button press + direction move?
This is my .ini so far, works well, only need the flip to work...

BIIIG thanks to SeByDocKy.
Now I can use the flip function like this:
-flip GEAR switch to 1
-do the flip with a FULL movement of the AIL or ELE
-flip GEAR switch back to 0
Notes:
-If I leave GEAR in 1, then I can make 2-3 flips then no more... need to switch back to 0 always for 100% sure flips
-If I use decreased range ("beginner mode", see the .ini file above), it will work only randomly or not at all... need to use the full range for flips
-Flips are sensitive to TRIM. If you are using too big trims, flips may not happen
