Thanks, I got it loaded and works great on my 8S.
From what I can tell, channel 6 is flip, ch 9 is headless mode and ch 10 is attack my face, lol.

Then I installed the latest nightly build of DeviationX (deviation-devo7e-v4.0.1-583c468)
But I don't find any idiot proof instructions on how to get the 7e to bind with my Eachine H8. I have a couple of questions:
1. Where can I download an ini-file for the H8?
2. In model setup I can not find Eachine, do I choose Bayang?
3. How do I bind? Power up the H8, then choose Re-init? Or: power up the H8 and turn on the Devo 7e to let it bind during its start up process?
Well, total n00b finds the answer: it refused to bind because I hadn't calibrated the sticks. Now it binds like it should:
Choose Bayang in the Devo 7e
1 . Power up quad
2. Power up Devo 7e
3. Fly!

H8 mini board is a killer with 7x20 motors and a light body. And deviation of course! It's not as stable as JJ1000 (v2x2) board, but it's more agressive. Very fun!

eirikso wrote: So, the n00b has one question left: how do I configure the menus to be able to initiate acro og "headfree" with the two switches on the Devo 7e?
You mean headless mode?
Model menu -> Mixer -> Navigate down to Ch9's "None" and press ent-button -> Change "None" to "Simple" -> Navigate down to Src and when you are on it, press the switch that you want to initiate the headless mode -> Save
I hope Ch9 really is headless because i haven't tested it. Just readed from earlier post in this thread.

I haven't done it in .ini file but you can do it via 7e itself by following the steps on my upper post but use Ch6 instead of Ch9. Channel 6 is flip mode. I'm sure its even easier in the .ini file but i have only done changes to the mixer with the devo itself thus far. (noob i am)

I've tried playing around with mixers but nothing seems to make a difference, I did get it flipping but with the wrong switch (fmod) then I could not disable it. Everything I regime the old settings are back and I can never get rid of the binding of arm to hold switch (I presume this is channel 5) on the 7e.

If you start all over again making a new model for h8 mini, and don't do any changes on mixers and it still binds the quad again of hold switch, it's sounds like a hardware problem on your devo to me. Soldering mistake? Check your wiring, would be my advise. Do you have any other models than h8 mini to test?
