What a nice, polite people! They marked the connections so clearly it's a pleasure to solder to such points! A bit more courtesy - and we'd had the protocol itself described fully in a nicely formatted document
Sorry for off-topic, what brand is this battery meter?

This is a BVM-8S (+/- $15 on ebay), nice battery meter, it even has an external buzzers module to make the programmable alarm louder.

I wish the manufacturer was so cooperative, but I don't even dare to ask

Some progress, simple homemade TX (Arduino+A7105) sending packets to a ia10 RX (which RXID and expected TXID / channel sequence is already known), that's kinda cheating but at least that confirms that we can do it with the A7105
Also, looks like the RX is permissive as I don't even send all the packets the stock TX sends at startup ...

Fantastic, it is like digital puzzle for you? Probably feels good when solved.... Full credits from my side!
Any idea abaout the functioning of dual antennas on the tx a diversity switch or two independent parallel stages? What would tx do with diversity? is there difference between A7105 and A7106?

stinkydiver73 explains how antenna switching works in this thread:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/protocol-devel...4?limitstart=0#44007
Of course that won't be implemented in Deviation as we're using "simple" A7105 modules, without an extra RF switch and only 1 antenna.
There are a few differences between A7105 & A7106, but nothing we really care.

Thanks victzh, I owe you, hexfet, PB, midelic ... most of the stuffs I know about this business, all of that was just black magic to me before I registered to deviationtx.com
The protocol is revealing its mysteries ... I think I found how to set PWM refresh rate.

Just an update
- now working on Devo
- Configurable servo refresh rate
- RX voltage telemetry
I believe it deserves its own protocol, not just a FlySky protocol format option as it is quite different and has its own options.
Next step: work on bind stage, knocking on wood, I hope frequency hopping is working à la HiSky.
See you in ~2 weeks now

Looking good Goebish!! Have a nice holiday enjoy !!
Flysky i-bus serial protocol, recently also compatible with Cleanflight/Betaflight Flightcontrollers.
Full digital system as Deviation what can we say about latency? Would it mean 50Hz samples= <20ms, variable latency? What would be the max samping rate?
How is that working? Is it real samples over the air, or the sample outputrate set at the RX?
With this positive news, I think can order some Rx.......

Hi,
Which version of Cleanflight/Betaflight dose support i-BUS ?
Thank you!
