@goebish
Do you really get T8FG? that's wired, I'll confirm that with Jumper!!
I have also noticed AIL&RUD revsrsed issue, I'll tell them about this bug and battery accuracy issue, thank you!

Also, I'm not sure that will make it to the final product, but the hard case pouch is a very nice addition !
(though I'd have preferred better gimbals... )

fixing the axis is trivial in Deviation, it is a bit disappointing that some of these simple polishings didn't happen before they started shipping. It makes me concerned about the 'beta' units that Bangood is (will be?) shipping. I really don't want to have to maintain a separate target for the betas vs the production units. FYI, that OLED screen is probably too small to be useful. We would only be able to do text on it (like the 7e) and it would require some development to support a multi-color text display I think (though a little of that work was done for the F12E, I don't think it ever got finished.

Goebish...that case looks quite nice. I hope they ship with that.

Gimbal axis can be reversed by interchanging two contacts at gimbal wire connector (GND and 3.3V).

I agree with PB, if they've started to ship like that (reversed AIL&RUD axis) then better have a software fix than 2 hardware versions.

At any case that direction for RUD and AIL is incorrect, only Frsky use such direction.

I don't know which one is "correct", but I find the FrSky way is more intuitive ;)

Quel information.....did not know about that...;-)
I.even did not wonder the channels went the opposite way after model transfer from Devo to Taranis, just clicked -reverse-

Devo7e, TaranisQ X7, R9M , 4in1 MM, Futaba FC18plusV3.2 & DFT/FLD-02

eventually we could solve the Stick Direction on the software side like "begin the calibration with right and forward" @ the sticks.
this would solve the direction issue with the M9 Gimbals @ Devo12s too,(without hall sensor magnet repositioning there is reversed Ele and Thr too)

goebish wrote: I just got mine from Jumper (I'm not sure that's thanks to you dc59, so please don't send a 2nd one, I don't need it ;)) but the USB connector is as on the 1st page, I've to disassemble the transmitter to access it, not very convenient.

I've noticed a few stuffs that need to be fixed:
- AIL & RUD directions are reversed compared to Walkera transmitters
- VBat reading is inaccurate (actual = 8.23V, read = 8.35V) , they should use better accuracy resistors for the divider, or we should add a ratio/offset calibration parameter to Deviation (same as OpenTX).

The gimbals feel not that bad, but I think they'll wear out fast.

Thanks goebish!
I've informed Jumper about these two bug!
BTW, Did you find any receiver and neck strap in your package ?

vlad_vy wrote: I read that the OLED screens have a short lifespan. About 1 year in 7/24 mode.

Even if the OLED is not powered, it is still subject to deterioration upon prolonged storage because it is very sensitive to moisture. This is why desiccant is found inside the OLED module. So low cost OLED is not a good choice as the display is so vital for a transmitter.

"AIL & RUD directions are reversed compared to Walkera transmitters" How will this effect the transmitter?

Hi,

I'm French ;)
Ail & Rud are reversed, so if you'll have to reverse those channels in the mixer for now, not a big deal, but you'll have to reverse then again once it's fixed in Deviation nightly.

@goebish - Can you confirm the switch types - All 3 position?

(I ordered one from the first batch - tracking shows it currently on route from China to NYC. Can't wait to try it out with my Blade and XK micro-helis!)
