Any plans on implemeting the voltage telemetry and fpv frequency changing implemented with the new hubsan 107D transmitter ?

I don't plan to buy a RTF H107-D so I can't reverse the protocol as I did with the H107-L.

If someone with a logic analyzer have one I can help him with the reverse, it shouldn't be difficult at all, at least for the vtx channel selection part.

Getting a (cheap) logic analyzer is the easy part, we've to find where to hook it in the TX (3 wires SPI), then log and interpret the results.

I still have the C program I made to interpret H107-L packets (in & out, so it should be able to easily sniff telemetry data too).

Does anyone know what frequencies the hubsan protocol uses?
The exppswd part on my v939 module is 28mm so its a bit of(30-35mm is normal fpr 2.4 ghz wifi), and i want to calculate its proper length.

Btw ill get my 107d rtf sometime in january so i can open it up and take some photos then. Dont think anyone on rcgroups has done that yet.

The 107d bnf flies just fine now, once i sorted out the issues with my devo 10.
Its using the same channels for leds/flip mode. the fpv frequency might just be another channel. Unless the channel representation in deviation is actually something more.

I have a genuime arduino nano v3 a cloned usbasp and a ftdi programmer incase one of those could be used as a logic analyser.

It's 2.4GHz, 30-31mm antenna is perfect.

Technically I think an Arduino should be fast enough to log the SPI bus inside the TX using the SUMP protocol , but I never tried it and that would be painful due to limited RAM (maximum 1024 samples per capture).

Salae logic clones (< $8 ) are so easy to use, this is by far the most useful hacking and debugging tool I ever bought ...

Just flew with my clubmates tx, and unfortunatley the 107d does not remember the video frequency when power down. So im going to have to hunt down a tx myself.

I did find the saleae analyzer in sweden, but as usual its stupidly expensive. 45$ including shipping

That's probably because the TX continuously send which frequency should be used, with each frame. I'd really like to help but I don't want to buy the TX, it's not cheap and I know I'll never use it...

Im just going to get the tx locally. And cancel my rtf order on banggood as they keep pushing back the eta on them every second day.

Ill probably order one of those analyzers, but it wont arrive anytime soon from banggood.

Ill get back to you in 3-5 weeks when i get the analyzer. Unless someone else has done it before then.

Banggood + fast shipping just wont happen this side of the big crunch  .

Should be able to get some internal pictures of the tx soon though. Managed to buy one from a club member whos 107D blew away never to be found again.

I'll upload some photos of the TX's board.

Will need to know where to hook up the analyzer.

Yeah, I would need help.

I solder some pins to those points and hook up the LA this way.

CH1: SCS (enable)
CH2: SCK (clock)
CH3: SDIO (data)
GND: GND

Saleae Logic 1.1.15 software was used.

Here's the log captured:
Download: app.box.com/s/muit9s5wsr1efx696uvv

I am on Viber if you use that, we can chat. (preferred as it's on my desktop and smartphone) Otherwise, we can Skype if it's easier for you.

Tx: 20 00 00 00 80 00 80 00 bf 0e 19 00 33 00 28 9f

can you make a longer capture in which you change the vTX frequency please ?
(and tell me what you have done)
Maybe you can lower capture frequency (the SPI bus is not very fast) and only export channels 0,1 & 2 to have a smaller file, you can zip it too ;)

I can't see any telemetry data (Rx) in the log, but it's only a 1.5 seconds log, maybe it's too short, does it even have telemetry ? I don't know much about this quad actually :p

Make sure to go through and capture all frequencies, there's like 32 different ones :P

32 vTX frequencies ? Does this mean it is compatible with any 5.8GHz receiver, fatshark or immersionrc freqs ?

All my receivers use band E (immersionrc)

Yep, you can set the fpv frequency in 5mhz steps.

All the frequencies are here.

Great, I sure want a bnf version when the protocol is hacked and implemented into Deviation, which shouldn't take more than a couple of hours if we get in sync with Daryoon ;)
