Thanks a lot, goebish.
Another Procedure:
a) Turn on CX-10WD
b) Turn on DEVO7E and Set throttle to 0%
c) Automatically go into binding process
d) Set throttle to 100% then Change the HOLD switch's position.

By the way - there IS a way to manually control the motors with the original remote.
Start motors: left stick -> left-bottom + right stick -> right-bottom
Stop motors: left stick -> left-bottom + right stick -> right-bottom (for 2 seconds)

If the WD has manual control as well then it should work as this doesn't involve any extra flags ...

Goebish:
I have uploaded the 5 requested captures. During take-off, the quad will be armed for a second or two before it accelerates and ascends. Next time if you find my captures questionable please tell me to redo instead of proceeding a test build. I am sorry for your additional efforts.
Hine:
I have not yet tested the flip before my quad crashed and lost one of the props. I rely on you for further flight tests.

Flip should be working already, I'll take a look at your new captures.

Ok, now I understand how it works ... I've to check what's the best way to implement it as we've switches on our transmitters, not temporary push buttons ...
I still need some extra captures for the CX10D as it doesn't use the same flags.
Stefan_Z, please make the same captures when you've a chance:

Glad that you have retrieved my captures because the google drive server suddenly stops working.
It is not difficult to implement temporary push buttons by setting virtual channels on the trim buttons.

Updated the test build for CX10WD:
www.dropbox.com/sh/zmbdc0t3q0u30on/AADEb...aMLWyCwhgj1egWa?dl=0
Auto land is engaged when channel 5 is switched to low position (less than 0)
Auto take off is engaged when channel 5 is switched to high position (more than 0)
Just leave this channel at 0 if you do not want to use auto land / take off features.

I updated the build again for CX10D this time, same channel mapping than CX10WD.
Stefan_Z please check this version before making additional captures, as they might not be required ...
Channel 5: land / manual / take off
Channel 6: flip
.. also, I reversed rudder & elevator channels, should be fine with default mixer settings now.

I found the missing prop and tested the new build. Rudder and elevator are now normal.
Take off
a) If I initially set ch5=0, it will not ascend even I push throttle to 100%.
b) If I set ch5=100 to take off, I can use throttle to ascend or descend. If I then change ch5=0, throttle operation remains the same.
c) If I set ch5=-100 during the flight, quad will descend quickly and land.
[channel5]
template=simple
[mixer]
src=virt1
dest=ch5
[trim5]
src=virt1
pos=TRIM_L+
neg=TRIM_L-
step=100
value=0,0,0
Flip
I am unable to flip. I mean the quad, not myself

So ... for the CX10WD, everything is fine except for flip ?
Replied by goebish on topic CX 10D Traces
This is normal, I think you can still "manually" arm or disarm the motors as Stephan_Z stated.a) If I initially set ch5=0, it will not ascend even I push throttle to 100%.

Yes indeed I can arm and disarm manually by means of the stick positions when ch5=0. I overlooked that. However it seems the ascend rate is not as quick as when ch5=100. The stock transmitter behaves the same. I love the auto take off better.
Yes all work fine except flip.

I had a further look at the capture, I don't understand why flip doesn't work.

I re-tested again and flip really did not work. The quad should ascend a bit and flip in the direction of the right stick movement but it just does not ascend and keeps on flying without flipping. Shall I make a capture of flip button + right stick movement?

try that:
- take off
- enable flip
- push right stick to the desired flip direction
- disable flip
- release stick
- take off

- disable flip
- release stick

Weird, that's the exact same flag than the older CX10 protocols (set 1 unused bit of the rudder channel), it's the same for D & WD ... I really wonder why it wouldn't work.
I already have a capture from Stefan_Z with take off + flight + flip + land, nothing particular here.

Let's wait for the other CX10 owners' feedback.
My wife finds it amusing to see the quad bouncing up and down (auto take off and land) by flipping a switch.
