Are you sure that is the stock arming sequence? Seems very illogical to me for an altitude hold quad.
My CX10D at least has a more normal arm sequence, left stick left under, right stick right under.

Binding: just turn on devo and wait until it binds, no stick movement. This mimics the binding of Q303.
Ch5: I use top left trim+/- button as a 3-way toggle switch, you might use other 3-position flip switch
Ch6: top right trim+ button for flip

Or you've a CX10D that's using a different protocol, but that's unlikely.

Attached is a pic of the inside of my CX in case mine is different from other people's. Anything else I can try?

I've never done anything like that so it'd be an adventure for sure - I could also ship my Cheerson TX to someone else if they'd be willing to dump it. LMK

Shipping your Tx back & forth would probably cost more than the CX10 itself

With a multimeter in continuity tester mode, check where MOSI, MISO, SCK & CSN are connected to the other IC (with Tx powered off), then connect Ch1 to Ch4 from your analyzer to those pins, also don't forget to connect ground (you can connect it to battery -).
