Are you sure that is the stock arming sequence? Seems very illogical to me for an altitude hold quad.
My CX10D at least has a more normal arm sequence, left stick left under, right stick right under.

Attached is my model file for devo 10.
Binding: just turn on devo and wait until it binds, no stick movement. This mimics the binding of Q303.
Ch5: I use top left trim+/- button as a 3-way toggle switch, you might use other 3-position flip switch
Ch6: top right trim+ button for flip

I just installed my NRF2401L module and I can't get it to bind with my CX10WD - Deviation sees the NRF ok and I can select Q303 (no asterisk) and CX10WD for the format, but no matter what I do it won't bind. The CX10 binds fine with it's delivered TX, what am I doing wrong? I'm using the latest nightly. I don't have any other way to test the NRF module but if Deviation can see it I would assume it's ok.

Thanks!

No asterisk means the module is configured properly and it is detected on the SPI bus, but the radio side might be defective ...
Or you've a CX10D that's using a different protocol, but that's unlikely.

Thanks, any way you can think of that I can test the module? Is it possible that one (or more) of my solder connections isn't good, or would that cause the module to not be detected?

There would be an error if it wasn't connected properly.

Thanks, I'll double-check everything tonight then order a new module from BG if this one doesn't work still.

ok I'm back and still can't get my CX10WD to bind - I swapped out my NRF and stock modules for the 4-in-1 and the other protocols all work fine so I don't think there's anything wrong with the module. I have Q303 and CX10WD selected in the model but nothing I do will make this thing bind - the flights flash fast, then slow for second, then back to fast.

Attached is a pic of the inside of my CX in case mine is different from other people's. Anything else I can try?

have you tried cx10 blue format option, only saying this because i recently got the cx 10w wifi version to go with my cx 10wd and should bind with blue a format but binds with q303 10wd option, instead

I tried with the ini above, same problem. I also tried all of the CX10 options and all of the Q303 options just for fun, still nothing. It's not the end of the world as I mainly use the Devo7e for my Inductrix FPV and will be using it with my new JJPro P175 (which bound just fine) but it'd be nice to have the Cheerson working as well :)

Weird, this protocol has been tested by many people already ... any chance you can get a dump of your stock Tx ?

I don't have a logic analyzer, but it looks like you can get one at Amazon for $17 - this would work, right? www.amazon.com/Logic-Analyzer-Device-Cab...aleae+logic+analyzer

I've never done anything like that so it'd be an adventure for sure - I could also ship my Cheerson TX to someone else if they'd be willing to dump it. LMK

That's fine, post a picture of the inside of the Tx so we can tell you where to connect the probes.

Shipping your Tx back & forth would probably cost more than the CX10 itself ;)

Ok, seems the simpler way is to connect to some pins of the biggest IC (MCU), here's the pinout of the small IC (XN297):

With a multimeter in continuity tester mode, check where MOSI, MISO, SCK & CSN are connected to the other IC (with Tx powered off), then connect Ch1 to Ch4 from your analyzer to those pins, also don't forget to connect ground (you can connect it to battery -).

Wow, I'll need my big magnifying glass to continuity-test those small IC pins! Will do that tonight, thanks again for your help. Does this board look different than ones others have already provided dumps of? I noticed the date is 9/16 but I don't know what other people have already dumped.
